| Chesapeake Sailing School began offering corporate training seminars in 1984. In recent years, we have taken a different approach by using the 'fleet sailboat race' to facilitate the goals of team building. By introducing a new activity to the group and creating a 'competitive atmosphere', we take the sport of sailing (a leisure sport to most individuals) and create an environment that requires communication, trust, shared vision and commitment to the team to be successful. Whether your success is being measured by being the first boat to finish the race or to simply complete the course 'following the rules', sailboat racing allows individuals to focus on the concept that a successful race is determined by a successful team. |
