Our Intermediate BKB ASA101 Course
is a fun two-day
program that offers the novice that has previous instructional experience that little extra bit of confidence in sail trim, sailing in adverse conditions and safety techniques
and your national certification for ASA101 Basic Keelboat. The Intermediate course, which is taught on the Tanzer 22 is offered select weekends and weekdays during the season. Register for the two-day Intermediate course at the time as your Basic 2 Day course and SAVE! Logbook and exam included in Intermediate course pricing. Pre-requisite: Basic 2 or 3 day sailing program or equivalent. This course is NOT appropriate for sailors without previous instruction - Call for additional options. |

| Intermediate Sailing covers such topics as: refining sail trim, block placement, travelers, choice of sails for weather conditions, docking and maneuvering while under power with an outboard, how to handle running aground and hands on anchoring techniques. | ||
| This course is perfect for sailor who is comfortable with terminology, points of sail, and maintaining a course even if the majority of your experience is on 15' 20' vessels. ASA Basic Keelboat certification is available upon successful completion of both the practical and written exams. |
