Can I put html tags anywhere in my posts?
No. You can not use HTML tags in any field except body of the message. At this point in time as an experiment, HTML tags are allowed in the Message part of your posting so that if you have the eneregy or desire (and knowledge) you can format your message to look pretty. If everything works, I will leave it that way, otherwise I will set the script to just throw out everything in <>'s.
Why are there colons in the message when I try to post a followup?
Colons appear in the message dialog box when you try to followup up on a message to indicate that those lines are quoting the previous document. If you like this feature I will leave it in. You can always delete this text as you type in your message. If it proves bothersome, I can disable this.
Your post most likely did not show up, because your browser did not reload the page, it simply pulled it out of cache. Please reload your browser and it should then appear.
Why didn't my link show up in my message?
The most likely reason is that you did not put any text into the 'Link Title' area of the form. The 'Link Title' field is not optional if you have put a url address (http://www............) into the 'Optional Link URL' field.
Where can I get the scripts for this program?
The scripts are written in Perl and derived by Colin McNaught from original scripts by Matt Wright. You can find out about them as well as other scripts at: http://worldwidemart.com/scripts/. To use these scripts, you need to have a web site that allows you to upload and run perl scripts.
Let me know how it is working.
